About Her Beautiful Veins

Those that are left behind deal differently with death, loss and grief. My journey is not yours, but we do not have to suffer the walk alone. A hand to hold, a shoulder to cry on, or an ear to listen sometimes offer enough to get us through another day.

Every day I deal with shadows, ghosts and the damage they have left behind by their leaving. In this journey, I struggle with fear, inability and addiction. This work of fiction has been my element for hope for the last twenty years. It is incomplete and ever changing. Please feel free to share your journey as I share mine. A burden is lighter, when it is not carried alone.

This story is not a substitute for professional help and I encourage you to seek out the help you need to get you though. It is not a sign of weakness, rather an acknowledgement that you are not alone in the world, none of us are.
